This week, I spent time with my daughter who is home for spring break from college. Storms have also caused power outages, which has kept us from using the computer. We’ve made comfort food together and snuggled under blankets. It’s been a cozy and relaxing time.
I went to my local pottery studio for a check-up on some of my pieces and was delighted to see that more of them were coming out of the oven. I began this hobby about eight months ago. I took classes to learn all the stages and methods for turning clay into pottery. I’ve included a few pictures of my dimpled texture watercolour trays. The blue ones remind me of lake or pool water. The wavy abstract edge adds to the appeal of these trays. I will be selling them in my shop at the end of this year.
