Yesterday I stopped in at Trader Joe’s and saw they had just released gourds and cinderella pumpkins at an excellent price, so I took home several to add to my decor using preserved leaves and fresh eucalyptus stems from home.
I recently ordered these delicate rubber plant leaves from Amazon; they make for great fall crafts!
Because I really appreciate these skeleton leaves, I decided to create a simple wreath as well. Attaching each leaf with hot glue onto a gold wire circle proved very easy and satisfying!
These translucent leaves can be used in so many autumn projects: garlands, wreaths, bookmarks, art projects or even headbands!
This pumpkin project is easy and quick. Just gather whatever kind of gourds or pumpkins you like – real or fake! Plus some dried botanicals or long lasting fresh stems such as eucalyptus for decoration.
I used skeleton leaves to decorate some pumpkins using Mod Podge to adhere them securely. For this project I used both fake and real pumpkins; their leaves looked equally great with both!
