As part of my budget bathroom remodel here in Florida, I briefly considered adding subtle gold Sharpie wall treatment but ultimately settled for just framing an art print instead. Meanwhile, here are some designs which inspired my decision as well as wallpapers available which may be recreated using paintbrushes, metallic paint pens, or Sharpies.
Wallpaper can be costly, and those who feel intimidated by installing it themselves often opt for professional installers. I found my time spent installing multicolor tropical wallpaper worth my while as it looks gorgeous in this bathroom remodel from last summer – although it took nearly two days!
If you prefer something subtle or subdued, or your wallpaper of choice does not meet your standards in scale, there’s always the option of stenciling or freehanding one yourself. Worst case scenario? Don’t like it so just paint over it! Below are examples of line art, geometric, and abstract prints one could recreate using patience and a paintbrush/sharpie.
