Last summer when everyone was quarantined due to pandemic influenza, I wrote an article about virtually wandering the world with video tours of places worth visiting around our beautiful planet. Now, thanks to technology we live in an age when walking tours or aerial videos can show us these fascinating places around our home planet!
I came across some virtual tours on You Tube which didn’t feature narration – making them less distracting than travel shows with hosts narrating each segment of a virtual tour. These virtual tours include walking, cycling, boating and aerial shots from places around the world – many set to relaxing music!
As travel remains limited for most of us, virtual world tours may provide the perfect escape. Clicking the images will lead you directly to You Tube videos for that region where you can take an enjoyable virtual tour.
