As I was researching flights for an upcoming May trip, it reminded me of last May when my travel partner and I visited Seville on Spain’s eastern coast and made Seville one of my all time favorite European cities.
At just the right moment, our travels coincided with blooming jacaranda trees and streets that weren’t overrun with tourists as often seen during summer. Because it can become hot and humid there, we were grateful that it stayed comfortable throughout our visit, yet balmy in the evening for extra exploration time.
Seville was one of the most charming cities I’ve ever visited; it truly had all of the components necessary for great city living: magnificent architecture, an idyllic riverwalk, markets, cafes and plazas for seating and sipping sangria; excellent flamenco shows to watch; an old town for exploration; exquisite Plaza de Espana covered in exquisite Spanish tiles adorning staircases terraces lamposts as well as its exquisitely beautiful Plaza de Espana with staircases terraces lamposts covered in exquisite Spanish tile staircases terraces lamposts lamposts covered in exquisite Spanish tile covering staircases terraces terraces lamposts; I’m certain I took hundreds of pictures just looking around every street corner or alleyway – I took more pictures of every wrought iron balcony door architectural detail along every street corner than I saw along each corner and street corner – I found something new every corner!
